These are from our Easter weekend!

We started off coloring eggs with our very good friends, went to CCV for a wonderful worship service on Good Friday, Sunday we went to CCV for an Easter Celebration of Christ rising from the dead to save us and give us a way to Heaven, after that we had an egg hunt for McKenna, Macie & Bridgette at Grandma & Papa’s house. We ended the day with a wonderful dinner at the Allen’s farm. We got to see all of Jerry’s family and this year celebrated with my brother Kenny and his family there too! Poker Night...

Last night my friends LaVonne and Alicia came over to "scrapbook"... the 3 of us had spent all day having a yard sale at LaVonne's house and figured we would meet up again later to hang out ~ because ALL day together still isn't enough!!! Man, I love these girls!!! So instead of scrapping we ended up playing poker! What a blast ~ it was a friendly little game, only $5 buy in and Alicia told us she didn't really know how to play ~ right then we should have known... Anyway I think we must have taught her too well ~ she took the whole loot!

These two girls are so much fun!! We spent most of the night laughing till we cried!

Alicia was the big winner... she took it ALL!!!

Poker game buy in $5

Scrapbooking supplies $10

Night with girlfriends and jokes only we know... PRICELESS!

Go! Go! Bridgette! Go!

Last night Jerry took Bridgette and I out on a "Family Date". We went and watched the State Champion High School Basketball Games! It was pretty fun... I know Jerry wants his little princess to play ball ~ I of course see her more as a cheerleader ~ and here is why... I should add that because Jerry is an official we had AWESOME seats ~ right on the court of course! And when the music played and the girls started dancing or cheering Bridgette was right in the mix! She even had them copying her moves! At one point the camera crew was filming her ~ (when we get that video I will add it too, as I am sure it will be hilarious to watch!!) Anyway she was dancing like John Travolta in Pulp Fiction with the fingers in front of her eyes and holding her nose like she was doing the swim ~ SHE SERIOUSLY STOLE THE SHOW!!! Jerry may even have realized her calling and it doesn't seem to involve a BALL.... hmmmm. That girl had moves NO ONE has seen before ~ We were so proud to be her parents ~ She has the GREATEST personality! She is so much fun!!
This picture was off the Arizona Repulic website~ I will add more as they come ~ there were a couple of reporters who came and asked her name, age and what city we were from ~ they wanted to print them too! We finished the night up with dinner at Olive Garden ~ Bridgie's favorite place to go. On the way home she fell asleep ~ she was up past her new bedtime but went right in and didn't even want a story. She was so tired and wore herself out! What a fun night we all had!

Our New Apricot Tree...

So this weekend I was at a CTMH scrapbooking event and Jerry and Bridgette had some Daddy/Daughter time together... One thing they did was go to Home Depot and He let her choose a new fruit tree ~ she chose an Apricot tree... YUMMY! So, on Sunday after we came home from church, we all went out as a family and really enjoyed the afternoon in our BLOOMING backyard! The weather was beautiful and we all had a fun time playing outside together~ later some of our favorite friends came over ~ Vince, LaVonne, Sid, Giggie & Justin to have dinner and spend some time ~ We all so enjoy hanging out together! ~ So much fun ~ that I forgot to keep the camera out! OOPS~ But here are a few pics of us getting that new tree in our yard & some of the events of the day...

Bridgette found a new bug for her Bug Barn...
I love this kid... She LOVES being outside! Gardening is in her blood ~ Her Daddy is a Farmer and let's not forget about GGMA'S Green Thumb!!!

Bridgette & Me

Here is Bridgette and her Daddy planting our new Apricot tree, We can't wait to see (and eat) all of those yummy arpicots!

I know it won't be long until this tree is big enough for her to climb, and lay in its shade, and eat its fruit... I know it won't be long until she planting a tree with her little one and I am going to treasure EVERY moment from now until then....Lord knows how fast they grow... Oh, please make it slow down... Funny how these "little" things that seem so uneventful can really make you slow down and think how those are the things that matter MOST!

The Man I Love...

So, I was putting some stuff away in my scrapbook room and found a couple of OLD camera flash cards ~ I seriously don't even think I have the camera that goes with them anymore... Anyway, I put it in my computer wondering if there was anything on them... I found these pictures WAY before we had Bridgette, WAY before we were married, Way before we lived together... Look at those smiles!!! There were TONS of them~ We went camping in Colorado and brought my dogs ~ Molly & Guinness and just had a blast... So, I started thinking~ I started thinking about the way I felt about him THEN... and looked at the smiles on our faces and realized how sometimes THIS LIFE can be so YUCKY that we forget about those "good ol' days" ~ but WHY??? Now he is MINE ~ Now, I don't have to say goodnight to him when he goes to his place and I go to mine... Now we share a BEAUTIFUL daughter together ~ TOGETHER!
Today I am going to think about those "good ol' days" and try from now on not to let them slip away... In fact, I am going to make TODAY ~ a GOOD OL' DAY memory for tomorrow!
Because HE IS ALL MINE!

WHEN IT GETS QUIET... GO CHECK! Here is why:

These are old but still FUNNY! (well now it's funny...)

Bridgette discovered she could "just climb on the chair then the desk then accross the dishdrainer and wash the dishes"... She was dressed and LOVIN' IT!!!!
Here is when she gave herself a little haircut ~ isn't that sweet?!?!?!?! NOT

This little number was taking place while I was having a tupperware party...She was suppose to be in the playroom!!!

She said "it's ok Mama, I am a Tiger!"

Here she said " what's Bridgette's name Mama? I can write it!"
