The Man I Love...

So, I was putting some stuff away in my scrapbook room and found a couple of OLD camera flash cards ~ I seriously don't even think I have the camera that goes with them anymore... Anyway, I put it in my computer wondering if there was anything on them... I found these pictures WAY before we had Bridgette, WAY before we were married, Way before we lived together... Look at those smiles!!! There were TONS of them~ We went camping in Colorado and brought my dogs ~ Molly & Guinness and just had a blast... So, I started thinking~ I started thinking about the way I felt about him THEN... and looked at the smiles on our faces and realized how sometimes THIS LIFE can be so YUCKY that we forget about those "good ol' days" ~ but WHY??? Now he is MINE ~ Now, I don't have to say goodnight to him when he goes to his place and I go to mine... Now we share a BEAUTIFUL daughter together ~ TOGETHER!
Today I am going to think about those "good ol' days" and try from now on not to let them slip away... In fact, I am going to make TODAY ~ a GOOD OL' DAY memory for tomorrow!
Because HE IS ALL MINE!

Bridgette discovered she could "just climb on the chair then the desk then accross the dishdrainer and wash the dishes"... She was dressed and LOVIN' IT!!!!

Here is when she gave herself a little haircut ~ isn't that sweet?!?!?!?! NOT

This little number was taking place while I was having a tupperware party...She was suppose to be in the playroom!!!

She said "it's ok Mama, I am a Tiger!"

Here she said " what's Bridgette's name Mama? I can write it!"

Notice it's "JUNIPER" on the walls! I LOVE IT!!!! The Ceiling is painted two shades lighter!

With a wave of a magic wand (don't I wish) ok, some serious hard work...

So, first things first. We had to empty the room! I can't tell you what a pain that was! I didn't know where to put ANYTHING! We also had to empty the scrapbook room that was in the 4th bedroom ~ so let me tell you there was crap EVERYWHERE! Then we had to tear up the floor ~ the carpet and the tile!!! Then the baseboards came up, then the paint went on the walls, then the new floor was put down, then we painted the baseboards and the crown molding, then we built all of the furniture from Ikea and brought the desks in (which had to be taken apart and put back together ~ UGH!) ~ then it was time to put the crown molding up and the baseboards on too... after that we hung the slat wall and with a few finishing touches ~ like the cool stuff on the walls we were good to go! It seemed like forever ~ but it was so worth it!!!!

Thanks to Grandma for the floors...and taking such good care of Bridgette while we were working ~ and the DELICIOUS meals ~ I LOVE YOUR COOKING... Also and especially for the GO FISH alphabet cards you got for Bridgie ~ She LOVES that and I swear that was the best thing EVER!!! You are so good to me ~ much better than I deserve!

In The Begining...The BEFORE scrap situation!

This is our "formal living~ dining room"... Missing one dining room table and formal living room furniture.... So why not use it as a workshop room???

My Desk... So, it was back and forth from this spare room (totally crapmed by the way...) to the workshop room... And I hated all that furniture in there! It was so uninspiring! So what is a girl to do???? I can tell you...and it has to do with being super nice to the man you love!
